Complaint Investigator POSITION SUMMARY This position provides clinical research and customer technical support in-house as part of the Complaint Handling process. Responsibilities include supporting existing products, managing technical collaborations, supporting customer training and the technical consultation center in addition to working cross-functionally to determine problem resolution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Using investigatory techniques executes bench experiments and determines root cause of customer complaints. Collaborates in troubleshooting and investigating challenging histology, IHC, ISH, and molecular biology applications and hardware customer issues. Reports investigation results and follows established procedures for complaint disposition to external customers and/or internal departments. Conducts in-service training sessions for company personnel. Presents technical information in poster and/or workshop formats. Works as a team member in a matrix organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Formal Training/Education: BS in Biology, Life Sciences or related field or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Masters of Science and/or Histological certification desired. Experience: Four years experience in molecular/cell biology techniques and two years of relevant systems and reagents experience including extensive knowledge of Ventanas current and legacy reagents and platforms. Technical applications, field experience or technical support experience strongly desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and present information to groups. Understanding of project management techniques and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
